For
Interactive experiments with the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a model organism widely used in biomedical research for its similarity to many human cellular processes. Through simple hands-on activities, visitors will have the chance to observe some fundamental metabolic mechanisms up close, such as alcoholic fermentation and the detoxification of hydrogen peroxide by the enzyme catalase.
