New Frontiers in Bioengineering: Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering and Biomedicine

The Bioengineering group of the Department of Experimental Medicine researches innovative biomaterials capable of interacting with the human body to regenerate damaged tissues and improve health. Through interactive demonstrations, we will show how smart hydrogels and biomimetic scaffolds can support cell growth and promote the repair of bones, cartilage, and other tissues. We will also explore how biomaterials can be used for controlled drug delivery and respond to external stimuli, opening new perspectives in regenerative medicine.
