The changing face of labour exploitation: an assessment of legal instruments to combat the phenomenon

For
Ten years after the death of farm labourer Paola Clemente in the countryside, the situation does not seem to have changed; in fact, there has been an increase in forms of exploitation in other areas of work as well. The seminar aims to illustrate the strengths and weaknesses of strategies to combat labour exploitation, with particular attention to the analysis of case law, including from a comparative perspective. Prof. Laurent Gamet, University of Paris East Créteil Val de Marne, will take part in the meeting.
