On the occasion of Researchers’ Night 2026, the Papyrological Museum of the University of Salento opens its doors to the public for a fascinating journey into the world of ancient papyri. Through stories, artifacts, demonstrations, and outreach activities, participants will discover how papyrological research helps reconstruct the histories, cultures, and lives of the past.
This is a unique opportunity to meet researchers, gain first-hand insight into their work, and be amazed by the secrets preserved within fragile sheets of papyrus which, even after millennia, continue to speak to us today.
