Stories from the sea. From research to the enhancement of the coastal and underwater heritage.

The activities planned for the event will focus on the results of the research and valorisation programmes carried out by the Underwater Archaeology Group at UniSalento in recent years. These activities are in line with the spirit of the Faro Convention, which regards heritage as a shared and common good. In particular, multimedia products will be presented (including apps that can be enjoyed with 3D viewers and webGIS) related to:

- the Coastal and Underwater Park of Porto Cesareo, which opened on 24 July, with specific 'dry diving' apps relating to some shipwrecks.

- the Andar per mare/Sailing the Sea project, with its associated portal;

- the UMS-INSITU project, which is a low-cost monitoring platform for underwater cultural and natural heritage objects.

Other ongoing projects will also be presented.
