Silent successes and resounding failures: a pop interpretation of international law.

The lecture, given by Prof. Gianpaolo Maria Ruotolo, aims to offer, in an informal manner accessible even to non-experts, an introduction to the use of pop culture as a tool for understanding complex phenomena of various kinds, such as legal phenomena, particularly international ones.
The way in which a phenomenon is portrayed in songs, comics, television series and commercial cinema coincides with the way in which it is seen by the vast majority of people, i.e. the way in which it enters and remains in the collective imagination.
To do this, Prof. Ruotolo will engage in dialogue with those present, listening to music tracks and looking at images taken from comics and films that deal with phenomena of international relevance.
