Invisible Traces, Millennial Stories: The Science of the Past at MuSA

The MuSA collections reveal their hidden stories through direct dialogue with museum archaeologists, along with anthropologists, zooarchaeologists, and paleobotanists from the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Salento. Through the lens of bioarchaeology, the study of bone fragments, ancient seeds, and micro-traces becomes a captivating narrative: a journey to discover the environment and daily life of those who came before us. A unique opportunity to understand how science reconstructs human history starting from its most hidden details.

Scheduled Activities:

Guided tours and hands-on workshops led by the Historical-Archaeological Museum and the Bioarchaeology Laboratories of the Department of Cultural Heritage.
