This project fosters an interdisciplinary approach that combines experimental research, clinical expertise, advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, and data-driven methodologies to address complex issues in healthcare. Through a collaborative research network, GEMINI aims to develop innovative solutions that enhance understanding, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of diseases. A primary goal of GEMINI is to create digital, biological, and biomechanical twins that reflect the dynamic characteristics of individuals by integrating clinical, experimental, environmental, and sensor-derived data. These models present new opportunities for personalized medicine, predictive healthcare, and the design of more effective diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
The GENESI innovation hub strategically connects resources distributed across GEMINI’s multiple partner institutions, actively promoting the efficient and optimized use of research infrastructures and directly supporting the rapid development of new scientific, technological, and industrial opportunities.
